Prepare for a truly memorable experience to the Great Barrier Reef and Green Island with Great Adventures. Green Island is a beautiful 6000 year old coral cay and is the gateway to the Great Barrier Reef. On this outer reef cruise, travel direct from Cairns on a comfortable, air conditioned, high speed catamaran, for a 2 hour stopover on Green Island. Stroll through the magical rainforest, laze on the coral white sands, snorkel or don a Seawalker helmet and stroll along the sea floor.
These Great Barrier Reef cruises then continue onto the Great Adventures spacious activity platform situated on the outer edge of the reef. The pontoon features undercover seating and tables to enjoy a delicious buffet lunch, and also has full bar facilities. Sun deck, a swimming enclosure for children, change rooms with freshwater showers and scuba diving facilities with a semi-submerged platform are also featured for guests enjoyment.
Snorkel and dive amongst some of the most spectacular coral gardens and marine life diversity on the Great Barrier Reef. Or if you choose to stay dry, you can still embrace the natural wonderland below in the comfort of the semi-submersibles.
